On our last post regarding “Wedding Knowledge” we stressed the importance of the photographer having the detailed knowledge of the sequence of events and timings. In order to underpin and fully understand we ensure that all our students are given the opportunity to attend weddings with one of our experienced wedding photographers.

“Just a quick note to say a big thank you for co-opting Martin to act as a mentor for the day and allow me to accompany him at one of his wedding shoots in September.

It was a fascinating (and invigorating) insight. The day was hugely informative – Martin’s attention to detail and ability to marshall the whole event was quite inspiring. It also set a very high standard for “wannabe’s” like me.

I’d encourage everyone on the wedding courses to get the benefit of the experience.”
Chris Newman, wedding course student

Our wedding course is the most comprehensive and in-depth available in the UK and finishes with a simulated wedding and written exam. On our final practical day we use 27 models and only the best students are awarded the Barrett & Coe diploma in wedding photography.
