There were no less than six grade one’s on the Sunday Wedding Course which finished yesterday. This was a record for us and congratulations to all those that achieved such a high standard. It is not easy to do. Apart from assessing images taken at home as course work, overall knowledge of  how to run a wedding business, and marketing etc. is assessed. Any student getting a grade one or a  grade two has the knowledge and capacity to be a successful wedding photographer.

We try to simulate a real wedding as near as possible with all the associated time pressures and lots of models at a church location. During the day students had to cope with a variety of weather conditions including bright sun alternating with cloud, and in the afternoon a forceful wind. A true test of their ability!

Three of the students have indicated that they wish to take a Barrett & Coe franchise to launch their wedding business and take advantage of all the promotional material and many other benefits.

It was really great to receive an enthusiastic round of applause at the end of yesterday and our best wishes for a successful wedding/portrait photography career go to all.
