Marketing continued

Marketing of Wedding and Portrait photography is a specialist field. Many experienced and successful marketeers have come unstuck when trying to apply conventional marketing skills to Portrait and Wedding photography.

One example of this was when 5 years ago a group of 3 Franchisees employed a marketing consultant at a cost of £6,500. He achieved a nil result! No additional business at all!

Whatever marketing is done first class professionally designed literature is essential to back it up. Inkjet flyers off a computer without employing a graphic designer will not work.

In our continued effort to be the best supported Franchise in the UK Dominic Stasi (Barrett & Coe Graphic Designer) provides his design services to all the studios.

“I had a stroll around the motor show taking place in central Milton Keynes shopping centre tonight. Five days for the public to look, touch, sit in new cars and purchase before the end of July to take advantage of the special offers to be had. Once again Dominic produced the goods in an indecently short space of time. I got the approval for the leaflet on Friday afternoon, emailed Dominic Stasi, straight away, received the finished items on Wednesday morning, delivered them to the dealer straight away. They appeared on every Ford car ready for opening time this morning. I don’t know what Andrew Coe pays him, its not enough! Ladies & Gentlemen, I give you Dominic Stasi, the Barrett & Coe design superhero.”

Andrew Coe is great grandson of Albert Edward Coe who founded the Coe photography businesses 150 years ago. He is recognised as one of the leading teachers of wedding and portrait photography in the UK having been commissioned by City & Guilds to write the first module for the Higher National NVQ Diploma in Portrait in this field. He has also been commissioned to give seminars in New York, Las Vegas, Madrid, Cologne and many other international venues.
