Critique advice – baby photography

Barrett & Coe supply a critique service for images taken by many ex-students. Constructive advice is provided by Brian Barrett who examines a set of baby images below:

Good expression, head facing main light, hands well positioned
Great expression, crop in closer to subject
Crop the image to loose background on the left, dad darkened to help baby stand out
Changing the angle and cropping it closer can transform an image
