We are receiving about two enquiries per day many of whom I speak to on the phone, after information packs have been sent. Many questions revolve around the viability to set up a business.
My answer is always the same. If you have a job keep it and start part time. It is easier to start part time with weddings , it is possible with portraits, but not so easy. I was talking to a guy in the Fire Service earlier in the week. He does four days on and four days off and is wanting to start a wedding business. He is joining our wedding course in October.
A completely different scenario is a couple from South Africa who arrive in UK in October and have already put down a deposit for a Fast Track franchise in the Salisbury area. We will help them to be up and running with a studio within three months of their arrival!
