On Friday and Saturday last we held the third and fourth seminar of both the Wedding and the Portrait Course.  On the third seminar we bring together both groups for an in depth session on judging prints for qualifications and awards.

A number of prints were displayed for judging and each student scored each print. After discussion on the merits or otherwise Brian gave his score, and the rationale for his score.

At the end of the session total scores for all the prints were added up and compared with Brian’s total.

Incredibly Ger Dunne who had come from Dublin scored exactly the same as Brian, a million to one chance.  Andrew Nolan also from Dublin came second, only one point away, to complete an Irish wipe out!!

Ger recieved a prize of £20 of Loxley vouchers and Andrew a £10 voucher.

Sarah Carter got the third prize.
