Anyone planning to start a wedding photography business should be aware of all the pitfalls. Before starting a business as a wedding photographer it is wise to allow about 6 months for careful planning and preparation.

Obviously it is necessary to get the level of photography as high as possible, but this alone will not ensure success. It is necessary to consider so many things. For example, what packages are going to be offered to the potential customer.

How long will be the attendance on the wedding?

Will attendants be at the home before, or just at the ceremony?

How long will attendants be at the reception, if any?

How many images will be taken?

How will the images be presented to the customer?

Will a wedding album or albums be included?

What will it cost?

What packages do local competition provide and at what cost?

The Barrett & Coe wedding course starting on Sunday 5th July will answer all of these questions and much, much more, as well as ensuring that your photography level is as good as it can possibly be.
