On Thursday and Friday we were in London for a large Graduation. Yes, Barrett and Coe are actively involved in the market place other than training and franchising. This keeps us very much in touch with latest trends. Today and tomorrow we are completing the same graduation photography in the very centre of London.

Logistically it is a bit of nightmare having the weekend in the middle. We have six photographers, with six separate open plan studios, and six reception staff, plus back up reserves. Three exhibition stands, eight sets of lights, order pads, frames, mounts, backgrounds, equipment plus providing accommodation and meals. We start setting up at 6 30 am and finish about 6 30 pm.

On Thursday night, after a meal in a really buzzy restaurant,we went to an amusement arcade for relaxation. The dodgems give everybody the opportunity to let off a lot of steam and some stayed up until 3 am!

During all of this I am finding my iPad indispensible in keeping up with course and franchise enquiries.
