Today is the final day of our Course 2. Both the wedding and the portrait group were pretty full so it took Brian and I quite a while to mark all the prints which each student had taken on the practical day.

The Wedding group achieved the second highest average score ever achieved. As we do no less than 5 courses a year this was no mean achievement. Congratulations to the group some of whom will be shown receiving their diplomas this afternoon.

The morning kicked off with 1 1/2 hours with David MacDonald Fellow of the MPA and one of the leading judges in the UK. David averages over £900 per portrait sitting so he is able to provide a perfect finale to the course.

Following this Elaine Shepherd our National Studio Development manager gave some case studies of studios and how they achieved success.

The morning session finishes with Brian covering a variety of topics and any last minute queries. This afternoon all the practical work images are critiqued by Brian and grades and Diplomas awarded.
