Brian Barrett reaches new heights
Multi-award winning photographer Brian Barrett of Barrett & Coe, the Norwich-based photography network, certainly had a high altitude introduction to the 2007 wedding photography season. His first wedding of 2007 was in Zermatt in Switzerland.
Brian is pictured here on the left with a look-alike American tourist who happened to be on holiday at the same time as the wedding.
Zermatt is a venue well known for its celebrity appeal as a location and for its skiing. The Matterhorn with its peak at some 15000 feet provided a stunning backdrop to the occasion.
Alex and Tamsin Hucklesby from London were the happy couple and their wedding celebrations, centered on their reception on Saturday 27 January, were spread over 7-days with guests arriving from all over the world from Wednesday 24th onwards.
Brian not only had to handle an event that was in different locations and over several days he also had to keep all the guests happy in beautiful but very cold locations. He told us that the shots on the train to the top of the mountain were the most challenging as by that time the wedding party were enjoying the occasion and the champagne!
The end result was over 600 images for Alex and Tamsin to choose from, all of which were live on their own Wedding Website within 2 days of Brian’s return to the UK. Brian is held in high regard by his peers in the photography industry throughout the world and is off to the USA in March to lecture to the Professional Photographers Society of New York State, tremendous recognition of his ability and love of his craft.
