Franchise case study- Penny Scutt
This gave me the opportunity to take a fresh look at my future career and decide what I wanted to do for myself rather than allowing myself to do what was expected of me by others. I was seriously considering either setting up my own surveying practice or going back into full time education when I was introduced to the potential opportunities presented by franchises. I have always felt that I should be doing something creative and being behind a camera has always been second nature to me so when I found the Barrett & Coe entry in the BFA Magazine the decision was easy. Having signed up to the new fast track option to set up in studio premises from the start, the training I received in both portraiture and wedding photography was fun, practical and reassuringly business oriented. My studio has not been open for very long but I am already seeing the benefits of working within the franchise structure. Support and assistance from other franchisees is freely given and has been absolutely invaluable. With the able assistance of Barrett & Coe’s National Studio Development Manager, I am committed to developing my business into a successful career doing something I love. |
