Budgeting and Business Planning
This is essential in order to be able to determine break-even point and therefore studio targets. Our Head Office team will go through this process with you and complete a cash flow forecast which will then be signed off by Head Office and used as a tool to guide you to achieve your business goals.
An essential step in highlighting and organising your focus and time within your working week in order to ensure you achieve your studio targets. Our Head Office team will take you through this as the next step on from your budget and business planning meeting.
Every new franchisee has the benefit of access to our Head Office team for advice on a number of topics including potential premises, branding and layout, budget and cash flow forecasting, sales and marketing planning and support, session and viewing observations and overall Barrett & Coe studio operations. Each studio visit is documented in the form of a report with agreed actions, along with an audit which acts as a framework to ensure that your franchise business is meeting the high expectations consistent with a fully branded Barrett & Coe studio.
Every new franchisee is assigned an experienced franchisee mentor who can act as a point of contact alongside our head office team for all those questions and queries that arise particularly in the early stages of your business. The programme involves a scheduled weekly call for the first 3-6 months of your franchise between you and your mentor. You will also be able to visit their studios as per your requirements to look at their premises and observe sessions, viewings and general studio operation.
Once up and running a member of our head office team is available to visit and sit in on session and/or viewing appointments in a live environment in order to highlight any development areas that can be improved on in order to increase sales and average order potential.
National Franchise Days
These take place in nominated locations for all franchises to attend. The day is a mix of updates, sales, marketing and photography training.
Processing and Production Facility
With over 15 years’ experience of printing and handmade framing, Premier Image have helped artists, illustrators and photographers from all over the UK and overseas to reproduce, and frame their artwork. As members of the Fine Art Trade Guild, Premier Image adhere to the Guild’s high standards, giving buyers extra confidence in both the quality of the artwork and framing.
Barrett & Coe are very proud to work with Premier Image and insist on all franchisees using their services from day one. Their product range reflects their commitment to us with a never ending list of fantastic products and services that Head Office can choose to add to our portfolio at any time. To ensure all systems and processes run smoothly, Barrett & Coe Head Office hold monthly teleconferences with the Premier Image management team to discuss any feedback or forthcoming opportunities.
In order to streamline our business we have a dedicated ordering system (Barrett & Coe ROES) which new franchisees will be given access to, and trained on during the induction stage. This system enables you to view and order all products that are agreed and available in line with our price lists.
