“It is very rare that I feel strongly enough to put pen to paper (computer keyboard in this instance) but I feel obliged to do so today.
Since my first attendance at Norwich all members of Barrett & Coe have been helpful, accommodating and approachable making my experience pleasurable.
People are all too quick to criticise and slow to praise but I feel no amount of praise high enough to thank you all”.
Ossie Ikibiroglu – March 2009 – Portrait and Wedding Courses |
“I did a viewing today that generated £1,030 and another of £585. This is a great start to my part-time photography business”.

“I confess I was slightly hesitant as I set out at 5.30am on Friday morning wondering if I could actually become a wedding and portrait photographer. However, by the end of Saturday I began to realise that if I listened and watched, then I could learn enough to actually become what I desire to be.
All of the sessions were very good, but if I had to pick two that stood out for me it was the session “Mentally preparing for a Wedding” – that was just so helpful; and the session that we had ion the church where in two hours I learnt more about taking people pictures than I have going to other courses over the last two years”.
David Jones – May 2008 - Wedding Course

“You may be interested to know that I did my first Emma’s Diary sitting last week and the viewing this afternoon. Mum and Dad both cried and ordered a Collection 3 at £295. It is a great confidence builder to get such a positive reaction on my first outing”.

"I have been recently promoted to senior staff photographer in one of N Ireland's national morning papers "The Newsletter" indeed I was offered the position of Picture Editor which I turned down, but every day at work is like being on holiday and I really enjoy not just the photography, but meeting different people and being in different places every day.
I still consider myself very much a rookie in photography and its a daily learning experience, but I once again want to say thanks for the fantastic experience I enjoyed at Barrett & Coe for it made a major impact to my photography.
I have held on to many principles taught to me and was recently in London doing a feature on the Chelsea pensioners. I photographed the top model Caprice this morning and the first thought that came into my head when taking the photographs was what I was taught in Norwich on my very first day. There are countless other things that I come across and thanks to my trips to Norwich, I can put them into practice. I enjoy a good salary and enjoy taking photographs for others and myself. I can trace that first step into a professional photography career to Barrett & Coe."

“Barrett & Coe is an outstanding company. They not only share their knowledge and experience with all their students but also show dedication to the work they do. As a pupil there is so much I have learnt and feel they have given me outstanding help”.

“I have really enjoyed the buzz of assisting at weddings. I have really enjoyed the experience and it brings back memories of the buzz I had working as a runner for a film company.
At the time you wonder is the Barrett & Coe wedding course worth the money but it has proved invaluable for the weddings, and you realise how good the practical day was. It is a great asset that you can get very successful franchisees to offer support and are good role models”.
