The man who has the respect and admiration of the whole photographic industry
Brian Barrett is certainly not going to the Niagra Falls in the USA in March for a relaxing break. His Lesson Plan for his sessions with delegates from the prestigious Professional Photographers of New York State (PPNYS) includes eighten different topics over a 5-day period. The 2007 Annual Conference is entitled ‘Image Makers of the New Frontier – where no image maker has dare gone before, to the cutting edge of digital technology.’
The sessions cover wedding, portrait and Bumps and Babies photography, with a combination of classroom presentations and live demonstrations.
Brian is in demand as a lecturer and his Speaker Profile on the PPNYS website says this about him, “What more can be said about a man that not only has the respect and admiration of the whole of the photographic industry. Brian is a beacon for those who not only want to master their craft but also have the desire and enthusiasm to keep learning. His current wedding and portrait work is innovative and challenging.”
As recently as October 2005 Brian was awarded the Master Photographers Association’s highest honour, The Presidential Award for his services to the well being of the photographic industry in the United Kingdom.
Brian is proud to share his knowledge and expertise with other photography professionals and still loves his personal wedding and portrait commissions. His first wedding of 2007 was high in the Swiss Alps in Zermatt, the whole occasion was spread over 3 days and Brian took a total of over 600 images.
