Masterclass with Europe's Top Wedding & Portrait Photographer
As part of Barrett & Coe's 'fantastic photography' initiative, 5 of the leading Barrett & Coe members spent a day with European Wedding & Portrait Photographer of the Year Henk van Kooten at his studio in Nijmegen on Monday 29th May.
Ideas and detailed discussion revolved around lighting, camera technique, digital preparation and the creating of distinctive and exciting images.
In the morning the group visited various locations in Nijmegen which have been used for many of Henk's award winning pictures. Henk gave an outline of his thought processes in deciding on locations and lighting.
After lunch with Henk and Christina (his wife) at their lovley home connected to the studios, photography and critiquing completed a very long day. The group had left Stansted at 6.40am and did not arrive back in the UK until 10.30pm.

Daniel Firman (below) who has been running the flagship Barrett & Coe studio in Norwich since January 2006. The demand for his 'fantastic photography' is such that a second studio is being opened in Norwich to accommodate the demand for Daniel's quickly increasing clientele
