The Italian Job - Part Two
It's hard to highlight all of the special events that took place on this year’s Barrett & Coe Photography Workshop in Naples.
From leaving Stansted Airport on Thursday 26 April to landing some 5 days later on 30 April, there were a lifetime of memories packed into such a short time.
Once again the photographers had the opportunity to take some stunning wedding and portrait images in breathtaking settings in rural Italy. The 5 different studio locations were complimented by local models and even some of the inhabitants of Oliveto Citra, the village used for the photography.
It wasn’t all work, and the lunch in the mountain village of Ravello on the Amalfi coast was described by one happy Barrett & Coe photography student as “the best meal I’ve ever had in the most beautiful location I’ve ever been to.”
Top wedding album company Tony and Sandy Sarlo and their family helped organise the models, other social excursions and hosted a Gala Dinner for the whole party at their beautiful villa, in the hills above Oliveto Citra.
Brian Barrett and Andrew Coe made sure that the photography training and practical sessions were of the highest standard and all involved would have learned valuable new skills to help them towards ‘Fantastic Photography’, the Barrett & Coe philosophy for their Training School and Franchise.

Testimonials from 3 photographers that went on the trip:
"The highlights of the trip were the fantastic people we met from Barrett & Coe. It was great for me as a new franchisee to get the opportunity to talk to people who have all been where I am now. The Sarlo's hospitality was above and beyond the call of duty - What a lovely family they are - and the stunning locations and scenery." Jo Curtis
"The trip to the Amalfi Coast and lunch in Ravello was special. The Saturday studios with the models was the highlight for me. Great fun all through the weekend and meeting the Sarlo family was very nice." Peter Evans
"The highlight for me was seeing the Tony Sarlo factory, and seeing how the albums are hand made. I can now with confidence say to my customers that they truly are 'hand-made.' Getting lost in Naples and having to perform a three car U-turn after taking to their roads only minutes before was a real blast!" Andrew & Olivia Austin
