How to use your Emma's Diary leads1. Call those with phone numbers 2. Have a special script prepared when you call 3. Be warm, friendly and welcoming 4. Explain your offer 5. You may need to call 4-5 times and at different times 6. Mail shot to all without telephone numbers 7. When you book your appointment send a confirmation letter that includes great Baby pictures. Get email, mobile number, Christian names. Send map with directions if you have a studio. 8. Do a FIRE UP call 5 days before the sitting. This call should last 10-15 minutes and be done by the person who is going to take the photograph. Find out about the baby, ask Mum to bring along favourite toys, say what a great time the babies and Mum's have. Build up a relationship. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ACTION IN REDUCING NO SHOWS AND INCREASING SALES. If they don't turn up after this call it is this persons responsibility. NOT the person who booked the appointment. 9. Call 24 hours before to confirm attendance 10. Send email to confirm 11. Send a text reminder the night before, or on the day 12. Take the best pictures you possibly can - you can never be sure who is going to spend and who is not 13. Sell packages of products never single prints 14. Don't give out a print as your offer - if you do they will not accept not being able to buy further single prints. We recommend giving a small acrylic frame. 15. At the end of the viewing (always project images onto wall or screen) give them an incentive a) To find you more customers (referrals) b) To come back for another sitting within a set time period. 16. Keep careful records and market to this database starting with a customer satisfaction form after 3 months. Eventually 50% of your sittings should come from past customers. To help us deal with any questions you may have please email enquire@barrettandcoe.co.uk with your thoughts on the following: 1. Would a dedicated Emma's Diary forum on the SWPP site be helpful to you? 2. Are you happy with the suggested mail shot? 3. Would you like us to set up an Emma's Diary seminar to include baby photography, marketing, selling etc? 4. If so, where would you like this seminar to be - London, Birmingham, Manchester, Norwich? 5. Is there anything else that you can suggest which we are not already doing that would be help you with your Emma's Diary leads? |
